Camp Sertoma was created in 1999 in partnership with Sertoma Clubs of the Great Plains Region and Confidence Learning Center which is located on beautiful Sylvan Lake in central Minnesota. Camp Sertoma is just north of Brainerd, Minnesota which is about 115 miles from the twin cities.
Campers come from all over! (Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska). This is a once-a-year opportunity for many of the kids to be with other kids with similar experiences and feel no judgment. When a child is in an environment with no communication barriers they build new friendships, have great role models and their self-esteem sky-rockets naturally.
We believe the natural wilderness of camp is the best place for the campers to grow friendships, confidence, and emotional well being! At camp you are sure to see lots of wildlife! As you can see Camp Sertoma is the perfect place for self growth and discovery!

Camper fees are subsidized through support of Sertoma clubs from the Great Plains Region. Camperships cost $875 per camper, but are offered to campers of the Great Plains Region at $200.00 however, nobody will be turned away for financial reasons. Individual and corporate donations are always welcome!
